My PrizePicks for Today’s NBA Slate
Tre Jones, San Antonio Spurs: Higher than 22.5 points+rebounds+assists
Though the Spurs have been an odd team to watch this year, Tre Jones continues to prove he deserves more playing time. On Saturday against the Chicago Bulls, he went off for 30 points and 9 rebounds. The Spurs are in Atlanta on Monday to take on the Hawks. Atlanta’s guards don’t play much defense, so Jones has the potential to have another big-time performance. I like him for 23+ points+rebounds+assists in what should be a high-scoring game.
Coby White, Chicago Bulls: Higher than 18.5 points
White has been one of a very few bright spots for the Bulls this season. With the Zach LaVine situation getting uglier by the minute as both he and Chicago work toward a trade, White continues to shine. He’s been on fire lately, too. Though he only scored 15 points on Saturday night against San Antonio, he’d scored 19+ points in his 5 outings prior to the Spurs game. Tonight, against a Cleveland squad that doesn’t have much backcourt defense to speak of, White should have plenty of room to go off offensively once again.
Bruce Brown, Indiana Pacers: Higher than 3.5 assists
As Indiana superstar Tyrese Haliburton continues to miss time with a hamstring injury, Brown has stepped into more of a point guard role. He’s had 6, 4 and 6 assists in his last 3 outings. Against a Utah team that is playing well as of late, Brown and his teammates will need to be on top of their game if they’re going to go into Salt Lake City and pull off a victory tonight. That means Brown will need to hand out a few dimes, so I’m taking him to post at least 4 assists in this matchup.
How Many Picks Should You Make?
A 3-picks entry like the one I described above would net you a 5x multiplier. Thus, on a $5 entry fee, you’d earn $25 if all 3 picks are correct:
PrizePicks allows users to enter contests with between 2 and 6 picks, so find the multiplier that works best for you and do your thing! Just make sure you get all your picks in before tipoff and then watch closely as every jumpshot, pass and rebound get you closer to your goal.
