Trae Young vs. Luka Doncic
Because of the trade during the 2018 NBA Draft that sent Trae Young to Atlanta and Luka Doncic to Dallas, both of these players are likely forever linked. While Doncic typically receives wider recognition as the better overall player, Trae Young is also recognized as a budding star in the league. His performance in the 2021 NBA Playoff has further cemented his reputation as one of the best players in the league.
While Doncic and the Mavericks have made the playoffs in two seasons as compared to Trae Young not making the playoffs until the 2021 season, Doncic has yet to win a playoffs series.
