The 2023 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and the odds for which player will go No. 1 overall have shifted once again.
As of Monday afternoon, DraftKings now lists Alabama’s Bryce Young as the betting favorite to become the top pick in the draft. Young is now listed at -120 to go No. 1 overall with Ohio State’s CJ Stroud listed at -105.
Florida’s Anthony Richardson (+2000) and Kentucky’s Will Levis (+6000) round out the top 4 players in odds.
Young was previously the betting favorite for much of the offseason. That changed in March with Stroud jumping to the top slot on the odds after the Carolina Panthers traded into the top pick of the draft.
What does it mean moving forward?
The timing of the move at the top pick is interesting with pre-draft visits ongoing for many of the top prospects in the draft. However, Young’s visit with the Panthers has not happened yet.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Young will visit with Carolina on Tuesday as the franchise continues its search to determine which player to take with the top pick in the draft. We will see if Young does indeed leave an impression on the Panthers, but at least Vegas is currently favoring the Crimson Tide star to go No. 1 in the draft.
