2024 NFL Mock Draft season is officially underway! With the college football season wrapping up and the early entry deadline passing, teams have a picture of which prospects will be on the draft board in the spring.

To kick things off, NFL.com expert Daniel Jeremiah dropped his first edition of a mock draft on Friday. In the No. 1 spot, Jeremiah included USC quarterback Caleb Williams followed by UNC QB Drake Maye at No. 2.

Those two players were widely regarded as the top 2 prospects entering the 2023 college football season, and neither player did anything to diminish that outlook. Williams’ spot as the No. 1 prospect also sets an intriguing debate for the Chicago Bears.

As for the SEC, Jeremiah slotted 3 players as top-10 picks, including LSU QB and Heisman winner Jayden Daniels leading the way. Daniels is slotted at No. 3 overall with running mate Malik Nabers joining him in the top 10.

Here are the 10 SEC stars projected as first-round picks by Jeremiah:

No. 3 — Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU — New England Patriots
No. 6 — Malik Nabers, WR, LSU — New York Giants
No. 8 — Dallas Turner, edge, Alabama — Atlanta Falcons
No. 12 — Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama — Denver Broncos
No. 15 — Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia — Indianapolis Colts
No. 18 — JC Latham, OT, Alabama — Cincinnati Bengals
No. 20 — Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia — Pittsburgh Steelers
No. 21 — Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU — Miami Dolphins
No. 26 — Ennis Rakestraw Jr, CB, Missouri — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
No. 31 — Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama — San Francisco 49ers
