Arizona Cardinals rookie Rondale Moore will hope that he doesn’t find himself in the position he did on Sunday as his team was in Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars.

Moore was lined up to receive a Jaguars punt following Jacksonville’s first possession. Right before it got to Moore, though, there was an apparent penalty on the field that saw a referee throw a flag to signal the infraction.

Unfortunately for Moore, the flag struck the ball, causing him to muff the punt. But it ended up being recovered by a teammate in the end.

You can take a look at the video below to see exactly what happened:

The good news for the Cardinals? They ended up beating the Jaguars 31-19 to improve to 3-0 on the young NFL season, even after a wild Jacksonville kick-6 following a field goal miss just before halftime. The Jags, meanwhile, are 0-3 as former Ohio State and Florida head coach Urban Meyer remains winless in his professional football career.
