The Chicago Bears are now dealing with some stolen equipment amid the other recent drama.
Equipment was stolen sometime on Wednesday evening that was valued at over $100,000, according to ABC7 Chicago. It has been an interesting week for the organization, to say the least.
Chicago Bears DC Alan Williams stepped down recently. Quarterback Justin Fields also stated that his robotic play as of late had to do with coaching.
The thieves tore down a fence to reach some gators and lawn mowers in a garage at the stadium. They then drove the stolen equipment out of the garage.
Things keep on getting weirder and weirder by the day for the Bears.
Chicago is still looking for its first win of the 2023 season. Its opponent in Week 3 won’t be easy as the Bears head to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs.
Kickoff from Arrowhead Stadium will be Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
