Fellow Bears wide receiver Daurice Fountain was filming the video. Scott, unaware that he was being pranked, looked completely stressed out. “Look at his face!” Look at his face!”, Fountain can be heard exclaiming.
The bill was for $20,501.81, which would be a tough pill to swallow on a rookie salary.
Fountain captioned the video “this is a joke, for all y’all financial advisors,” followed by the laughing emoji.
Every year, we see a similar story of veterans pranking rookies. This lighthearted hazing is a rite of passage in the NFL.
