DFS season is almost over for NFL fans, but there are still 3 games left before all is said and done. First up is Sunday’s AFC Championship Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. That’s followed by the NFC Championship Game between the Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.

Then Super Bowl LVIII will be held on Sunday, February 11, between the winners of these 2 games.

Before we get to the Super Bowl, though, let’s take a look at this weekend’s games. Our DFS expert, Adam Spencer, has scoured the pick’em section on Underdog Fantasy to find his favorite plays. Check out the top picks below!

Picks for Conference Championship Weekend

Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens: Higher than 1.5 field goals made

Even in a blowout win over Houston last week, Tucker kicked 2 field goals, as the Ravens had a couple of drives stall out before the end zone. Against a much better Chiefs defense on Sunday afternoon, I like Tucker to once again have a busy day with his leg. This game could come down to a field goal at the end. If so, it’s never a bad thing to have one of the best kickers in NFL history on your squad.

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions: Higher than 65.3 completion percentage

Goff has been electric this postseason. He completed 69.8% of his passes last week against Tampa Bay and a whopping 81.5% in the wild card round against the Rams. That’s good for a 74.3% completion rate this postseason. The Lions are doing everything right and are putting Goff in positions where he can succeed. Expect that to continue on Sunday night in San Francisco. Yes, the 49ers boast a strong defense, but Goff should still be good for at least a 66% completion rate.

Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: Lower than 19.5 rushing attempts

After starting the season with 20+ carries in 3 of his first 4 games, McCaffrey has only had 20 or more carries in 1 game, and that was back on Nov. 19 against Tampa Bay. He’s perhaps the best player in the NFL, but he doesn’t need a ton of carries to do his damage, as he’s also effective as a receiver. Look for him to be more of a receiving threat on Sunday night, as the Lions’ defense is strong against the run but struggles to stop opposing passing attacks. Even if this game turns into a blowout in favor of San Francisco, the 49ers will likely try to keep McCaffrey healthy and strong heading into the Super Bowl. And, obviously, if it’s a close game down the stretch, the Niners will be throwing more than running.
