Eli Manning has decided to fess up to a recent mistake he made during a Monday Night Football telecast.
In a technical mistake, Manning was seen giving two middle fingers when describing how he was treated as the New York Giants quarterback when he played the Philadelphia Eagles.
“You go to Philly, you’re getting the double birds from nine-year-olds,” Manning said.
In an interview with ESPN’s Laura Rutledge alongside former Florida quarterback Time Tebow, Manning said, “Not my proudest moment. I thought that’s how Philly fans said hello. That’s exactly what they gave. So, I was just doing what they did to me. It’s in context. It was in context.”
