Gardner Minshew going viral on social media for hilarious NSFW quote about competing with Trevor Lawrence

Trevor Lawrence is the presumptive starting quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021, but Gardner Minshew isn’t giving up yet – at least publicly.

Minshew is going viral on Twitter for a hilarious quote with a little NSFW language.

“In preparation for the competition, I haven’t taken a sh-t in weeks. No. 2 isn’t an option for me,” Minshew said during a recent appearance on the ‎”Green Light with Chris Long” podcast.

Minshew’s humorous “commitment” to being Urban Meyer’s No. 1 quarterback this fall certainly boosts his #FootballGuy reputation with NFL Twitter.

Minshew is entering his third season with the Jaguars. Last season, he played in nine games (8 starts), going 216-of-327 passing for 2,259 yards, 16 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.
