Ja’Marr Chase is set to become the NFL’s highest-paid non-QB. The former LSU wide receiver told an NFL insider that he has agreed to a new extension with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Chase’s new deal with the Bengals is for $161 million over 4 years with $112 million guaranteed. The Bengals publicly committed to making Chase the highest-paid non-QB, and the new deal makes that happen. Chase and fellow Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins informed Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports of their new deals.

A standout of LSU’s 2019 national championship squad, Chase has established himself as one of the NFL’s top wide receivers in his first 4 seasons.
In 2024, Chase notched a “triple crown,” leading the NFL in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,708) and receiving touchdowns (17). Chase’s sensational season earned him first-team All-Pro recognition for the first time in his career.
Chase’s other career honors include NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2021 and 4 selections to the Pro Bowl. Over 62 regular-season games, Chase has 395 catches for 5,425 yards and 46 touchdowns.
