Jim Harbaugh’s status receives conflicting reports following second interview in LA

Where in the world is Jim Harbaugh? The answer is… complicated, it seems. For now, no announcement on Harbaugh’s coaching future has been revealed, but he is very busy according to multiple reports.
In fact, NFL insider Dianna Russini with The Athletic reports Harbaugh remains in Los Angeles as of Wednesday after a second meeting with the Chargers on Tuesday. Harbaugh’s remaining in Los Angeles is notable with NFL insider Ian Rapoport indicating a second interview with the Atlanta Falcons has been on Thursday’s schedule “for days.”
Jim Harbaugh is still in Los Angeles after a long day of meetings yesterday. He could still be meeting with the Falcons at some point this week if he decides to take the trip. Michigan is in wait and see mode.

Those reports of Harbaugh being in LA are also notable with Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio indicating other reports that claimed Harbaugh had left LA to return to Ann Arbor are inaccurate. Florio included in his story that the Chargers declined to comment on whether or not Harbaugh is still in the building.
Will the Chargers let Harbaugh walk away to another interview in Atlanta or an extension in Ann Arbor, or will Los Angeles deliver a big-time deal to land the national championship-winning head coach? It sure looks like the Harbaugh sweepstakes are heating up moving forward.
