NFL Draft expert includes 14 SEC standouts in final 2025 Round 1 mock

The NFL Draft is almost here! On the eve of Round 1, analysts are putting together their final mock drafts.

The SEC has dominated the NFL Draft in recent years. NFL.com draft expert Daniel Jeremiah sees that happening again this year.

In Jeremiah’s final mock draft, he has an impressive 14 former SEC standouts being selected. Jeremiah has Georgia and Texas, the teams that faced off in the SEC Championship Game, leading the way with 3 picks each. In Jeremiah’s mock, Ole Miss and Alabama also have multiple selections. LSU, Mizzou, Texas A&M and Kentucky players are also projected to go in Round 1.

  • No. 6 – Kelvin Banks Jr., OL, Texas – Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 7 – Armand Membou, OL, Mizzou – New York Jets
  • No. 9 – Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia – New Orleans Saints
  • No. 14 – Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M – Indianapolis Colts
  • No. 15 – Jalon Walker, Edge, Georgia – Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 18 – Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss – New York Giants
  • No. 19 – Matthew Golden, WR, Texas – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 20 – Malaki Starks, S, Georgia – Miami Dolphins (via trade with Denver Broncos)
  • No. 23 – Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky – Green Bay Packers
  • No. 25 – Tyler Booker, OL, Alabama – Houston Texans
  • No. 29 – Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas – Washington Commanders
  • No. 30 – Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss – Buffalo Bills
  • No. 32 – Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama – Philadelphia Eagles
