NFL free agent Richard Sherman arrested and denied bail, charge against him being investigated as felony

There’s never a good time to be arrested but Richard Sherman couldn’t have picked a worse time as the aging defensive back is currently a free agent and is coming off a season in which he appeared in just five games for the 49ers.

The longtime Seahawk was recently arrested in Seattle and charged with burglary domestic violence.

According to King County public records, Sherman’s charge is being investigated as a felony and the NFL defensive back has been denied bail.

Sherman has been in the NFL since 2011, with the last three seasons in San Francisco. His five appearances were a career-low for Sherman.

He also made just 15 tackles last season, which was also a low mark for his professional career.
