The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Super Bowl in “Tompa Bay” after a 31-26 win over the Green Bay Packers. A wild sequence of events to end the game gave NFL Twitter a lot to talk about.
The first of three big events in the final minutes was a third-down play red zone play for Green Bay. On this play, Aaron Rodgers opted to throw instead of trying to run for a TD.

Rodgers could’ve run for that 3rd down TD right???

Why didn’t Aaron Rodgers run the ball in???
— Cameron Magruder (@ScooterMagruder) January 24, 2021
Joe and Troy need to be talking about Rodgers not trying to run that in.

The incomplete pass prompted a fourth down in the red zone with Green Bay trailing 31-23. The Packers opted to kick a field goal, hope to stop Tampa Bay and put together a touchdown drive with limited time on the clock.
they kicked a field goal down eight points with 2:05 to go with the greatest red zone offense in league history

I actually think — given the stakes — Matt LaFleur kicking that field goal is the worst coaching decision I've ever seen.

Packer fans can be upset about that call if they’d like. But your coach kicked a 26 yard field goal to make it a five point game instead of letting your hall of game quarterback go for the tie. Control what you can control. Awful, inexcusable coaching decision.

Kicking a field goal… inside the 10… down 8… to give Tom Brady the ball back with 2 minutes left?

A pass interference call on Tampa Bay’s final possession ultimately ensured victory for the Bucs.

The jersey tug led to some debate about consistency from the officiating crew and mentions of the infamous no-call in the Saints-Rams game.

that's PI but it also wasn't PI for three quarters ?

Pretty hard to complain about the Kevin King PI call when you see it like this. pic.twitter.com/VqF4wUvuyA

On the PI call that ended the game, there was an OBVIOUS hold by Tristan Wirfs.

YOU CANNOT THROW THAT FLAG NOW. Not after the way this game has been called and not that late!!!
— KFC (@KFCBarstool) January 24, 2021
Bro! I know y’all hate that they threw that flag, but you can not say he didn’t grab him.
— Ryan Clark (@Realrclark25) January 24, 2021
They let em play all game just to throw that flag?

If you don’t think this is pass interference then you have problems pic.twitter.com/ECU5ZWEWgA

Or that pass interference on Green Bay wide outs oh those only count if it’s Tom Brady’s team
