Published:
Paul Finebaum has been critical of Urban Meyer in the past, but that was stepped up a notch after the embattled first-year coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars was fired after starting the year 2-11.
Now, the reactions are flying in, and Finebaum didn’t hold back when sharing his thoughts on Meyer.
As you can see below, Finebaum appeared on “Keyshawn, JWill & Max” on Thursday morning and declared Meyer’s coaching career over:

“Anyone who wants to write a speculative piece today about ‘where will Urban end up?’ the answer is nowhere,” Finebaum said. “This man is dead professionally and he did it to himself. You can talk about the most spectacular flameout in NFL or coaching history, but it was easily predictable.”
Will we see Meyer on the sidelines or with a media job again moving forward? That remains to be seen, but Finebaum is betting the answer to the coaching job is “no.”
