PrizePicks is a great place to play NFL DFS contests, and there’s no time like the present to get in on the fun! The AFC and NFC Championship Games will take place on Sunday, with the winners advancing to Super Bowl LVIII in a couple of weeks.
And to help you, the DFS enthusiast, win real money this weekend, PrizePicks is offering an incredible discount on San Francisco 49ers star RB Christian McCaffrey. All McCaffrey has to do on Sunday night against the Detroit Lions is rush for a single yard and you can win that portion of your picks entry!
That’s a good place to start your picks contest for Sunday’s NFL action. If you check out the section below, I’ll detail a couple of other picks I like this weekend.

Conference Championship Weekend Picks
Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: Higher than 0.5 rushing yards
I mean, this is a given. McCaffrey is perhaps the best running back of this generation. Even against a stout Detroit run defense, McCaffrey is basically a lock to run for at least 1 yard. Last week against Green Bay, he posted 98 yards and 2 touchdowns on 17 carries. He eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark 7 times during the regular season and scored multiple rushing TDs in a game twice. Even the Lions won’t be able to slow down the San Francisco superstar on Sunday night.
Harrison Butker, Kansas City Chiefs: Higher than 1.5 field goals made
Butker is 6-for-6 on field goals so far this postseason and is 14-for-14 in his last 4 games total. He has been money for the Chiefs and is absolutely worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker. The Ravens’ defense is strong, so even if the Chiefs do put up some points on Sunday afternoon, they’re going to need Butker to be a big part of it. Things are going to tighten up in the red zone, leading to at least 2 drives where Kansas City needs to settle for field goals. Butker has proven time and time again he’s up to the task in big games.
Jared Goff, Detroit Lions: Higher than 261.5 passing yards
Goff has been incredible so far this postseason, completing 74.3% of his passes. He has thrown for 262+ yards for 4 games in a row and in 5 of his last 6 outings. Against the 49ers, it is likely that the Lions will have to throw early and often in order to keep up. San Francisco boasts one of the most-dangerous offenses in the NFL. The good news? So do the Lions. Goff has shown he’s capable of throwing for 262+ yards against some really good teams. He’ll need to be at his best on Sunday night to keep Detroit competitive.
How Many Picks Should You Make?
A 3-picks entry like the one I detailed above, taking advantage of the Christian McCaffrey free square, would pay out $25 on a $5 entry (a 5x multiplier). Here’s a look at how it appears on the PrizePicks app:
If you’re feeling bold, you can make up to 6 picks per contest for a maximum multiplier of 25x. Just make sure to get your entries in before kickoff of Sunday’s AFC Championship Game between the Chiefs and Ravens!
