My Picks for Monday Night Football
Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco: Higher than 0.5 rushing yards
This is discounted from 63.5 rushing yards, so it’s a no-brainer to take advantage of this deal if you’re new to the game at Sleeper. McCaffrey is one of the best running backs in the league, so he should surpass this number the first time he touches the ball against the Vikings.
Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers: Higher than 4.5 receptions
Deebo Samuel will miss this game with an injury, which makes Aiyuk the top receiving option for the 49ers. Aiyuk has recorded 4 or more catches in 2 of his last 4 games. Brock Purdy should be looking his way early and often on Monday night. Minnesota’s defense isn’t that great against the pass either, so expect Aiyuk to have a big night.
Alexander Mattison, Minnesota Vikings: Lower than 69.5 rushing+receiving yards
Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw live to make life miserable for opposing running backs. Mattison hasn’t exactly played up to the Christian McCaffrey level this year, either. Expecting him to get 70+ yards rushing and receiving in this contest doesn’t seem like a good idea. We’ll take the lower option here and expect the San Francisco linebackers to do what they do best.
