The Weeknd was this year’s Super Bowl halftime show headliner. Some members of SEC Twitter said The Weeknd’s music makes them look forward to going to work on Monday.
The R&B/hip-hop star from Canada performed a medley of hits including “Blinding Lights,” the chart-topping single off his most recent album, “After Hours,” on the field.
Many familiar faces of SEC Twitter were not impressed by the performance. Some found it amusing that the show, made “PG” for the CBS audience, included multiple songs with risque subject matter.

It's a very high bar to get a Super Bowl halftime show, but The Weeknd has to rank among the least talented artists to get that gig.
