My Picks for Dolphins-Patriots Week 2
Tua Tagovailoa higher than 277.5 total yards. Tua is healthy and so are his top receivers. That’s a dangerous combination. He just finished Week 1 with 466 passing yards. Yes, New England’s defense is better than the Chargers’ defense, but 300 passing yards is very doable for the former Alabama superstar on Sunday afternoon.
Tyreek Hill higher than 94.5 receiving yards. If Tua is going to go over his total, it stands to reason that Hill will, too. Hill surpassed 100 receiving yards in 5 of 9 road games last season. He’s already done it once in 1 try this year. Yes, he struggled down the stretch on the road last year in cold-weather locales like Buffalo and New England, but it should be a beautiful fall day in Foxborough on Sunday. Expect Hill to be targeted early and often.
Mac Jones higher than 220.5 passing yards. If Tua is going to sling the ball all over the field on Sunday, his former Alabama teammate is going to have to keep up. Mac Jones finished Week 1’s narrow loss to the Philadelphia Eagles with 316 passing yards despite playing in heavy rain for much of the game. He can certainly post 225 passing yards against the Dolphins.
