My NFL Conference Championship Game Picks
There are only 2 games on the slate this Sunday, but they’re both incredible matchups that should feature plenty of excitement. Here are 3 picks I like for Sunday’s conference title games:
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles QB: Higher than 0.5 rush+receiving yards
The Tush Push is nearly unstoppable. Hurts has 3 rushing TDs in his last 5 games, and they usually come from his running backs pushing him across the goal line. Washington’s defense has some beef up front, but Philadelphia’s offensive line is one of the best we’ve seen in recent years in the NFL. Look for the Eagles to push their star QB into the end zone at least once on Sunday.
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs TE: Higher than 6.5 receptions
The Chiefs took the tarp off of Kelce last week and took him for a drive against Houston. He had 7 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown, putting together one of his best performances of the year. He should find a similar level of success this week against Buffalo. Look for the Chiefs to pepper the star TE with targets early and often, leading to 7+ catches for Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.
Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs WR: Higher than 2.5 rush yards
Worthy, a rookie out of Texas, is one of the fastest players in the game. The Chiefs like to use him in exciting new ways. Last week, he had 1 carry for -8 yards, making his impact more as a receiver than a runner. But Andy Reid won’t be afraid to go back to the well with him in the running game this weekend. I like Worthy to put up 3+ yards on the ground against a Buffalo defense that’s susceptible to the run.
