It wasn’t at all long ago that the Bishop Sycamore football scandal was one of the hottest topics in sports — and it’s still hard to believe that it ever managed to happen.
Now, there’s an HBO documentary being released on it titled “BS High” that is set to premiere next year on the cable network. It will delve into the high school football team that never truly was despite taking on a well-known IMG Academy team in a game that was televised on ESPN.
In something that’s not at all surprising in retrospect, the Centurions, who were led by fired head coach Roy Johnson, were blown out by IMG in a 58-0 loss.
