Amazon Prime Video has released the music anthem for Thursday Night Football.
It was created by composer Pinar Toprak, which makes her the first woman to compose the original theme music for an NFL media package. The music will set the stage for the wraparound coverage, and accompany the in-game broadcast,
Amazon’s broadcast will feature Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit in the booth, as Michaels will take to Amazon to kick off his 37th season as an NFL play-by-play announcer. In February, he called his 11th Super Bowl — matching a record for TV commentators. Herbstreit has been ESPN’s lead college football analyst since 1996.
Along with those household names, Amazon will also have Kaylee Hartung as the sideline reporter while Andrew Whitworth and Aqib Talib have signed on as contributors for pregame, halftime and postgame coverage. Richard Sherman and Tony Gonzalez will also be on for the coverage with Charissa Thompson and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Prime Video will cover a preseason game when San Francisco faces Houston on Aug. 25. Its first Thursday night regular-season game comes on Sept. 15 when Kansas City hosts the Los Angeles Chargers.
