Family of Damar Hamlin releases statement on Bills safety’s hospitalization

The family of Damar Hamlin released a statement thanking medical personnel, fans, the Bills and Bengals organizations Tuesday morning. This follows the hospitalization of Hamlin Monday night following his scary collapse after tackling a Bengals WR.

Hamlin was rushed to the University of Cincinnati medical center where he was intubated and is currently in critical condition.

Hamlin, who is a 24-year old safety for the Bills and a former Pitt star, is so much bigger than football. All there is left to do now is hope for the best possible outcome in a terrifying situation.
