Matt Landers scored a touchdown in his first NFL game.

In the 4th quarter of his preseason debut, Landers caught a pass from QB Holton Ahlers and turned it into a 30-yard touchdown for the Seattle Seahawks against the Minnesota Vikings. Landers finished with the 1 reception on 3 targets.

Landers began his college career at Georgia. He was a redshirt scout team participant in 2017. From 2018-to-2020, Landers played in 25 games for the Bulldogs, recording 12 catches for 132 yards and a touchdown.

After spending the 2021 season at Toledo, Landers transferred to Arkansas to use his extra year of eligibility with the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver. Landers led the Hogs in receiving yards with 901 on 47 catches, including 8 TDs, in 2022.

The Seahawks signed Landers as an undrafted free agent in May. Fans will be watching to see if he makes the roster.
