It was another quirky, wonderful and whacky sports moment where you smile, shake your head and say, “only in Philadelphia.”
On Sunday night, as the Philadelphia Eagles were running out on the field from the tunnel to a screaming crowd at Lincoln Financial Field before taking on the Dallas Cowboys, an Eagles fan somehow got loose among the masses and sprinted onto the field with the team.
Yes, this actually happened, because it’s Philadelphia and things like this only seem to happen there.
An Eagles fan somehow managed to run out with the team last night ??

The fan can be seen sprinting alongside the team without the Eagles players even realizing he was there, which makes what happened on NBC’s nationally televised showdown game even more hilarious. Maybe they figured he was one of the equipment guys, but doubtful.
Later on in the video, the fan is seen being escorted down the same tunnel he ran out. And while it’s not known if there was alcohol involved, let’s just say the fan was stumbling a bit as the security team led him toward the tunnel and down the tunnel, his 15 minutes of fame done.
It’s not known if the fan got to stick around to see his Eagles beat the Cowboys 26-17 to remain the NFL’s only undefeated team at 6-0.
