Notre Dame has released its depth chart for its College Football Playoff matchup against Indiana.
The Fighting Irish are set to take on Indiana in the first-round of the CFP on Friday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m. ET. They will have the honor of being the first program ever to host a College Football Playoff game on a college campus.
Most notably, this updated depth chart indicates good news on a trio of Notre Dame players who have been battling injuries: defensive lineman Howard Cross, running back Jeremiyah Love and running back Devyn Ford. In a press conference on Sunday, head coach Marcus Freeman confirmed those players will be “available” for the Indiana game.
Cross and Love are both key players for Notre Dame. Cross hasn’t played since Nov. 9 due to an ankle sprain while Love had to leave the USC game early due to a knee injury. Ford is a reserve running back for the Fighting Irish who totaled 13 carries during the regular season.
College GameDay will also be on location to mark the occasion. ESPN announced earlier this week that it will stage a pregame show in South Bend on Friday before traveling to Columbus, Ohio, for its traditional Saturday morning show.
