Oklahoma added another wide receiver via the transfer portal on Thursday night.
The Sooners landed a commitment from former Arkansas wide receiver Isaiah Sategna. He’s coming off of a breakout season for the Razorbacks in-which he caught 37 passes for 491 yards.
In addition to his work as a receiver, Sategna also had a role on special teams in Fayetteville. He was Arkansas’ primary punt returner over the past 2 seasons and even returned a punt for a touchdown back in 2023. He will have 2 seasons of eligibility remaining.
Sategna is the third wide receiver to commit to Oklahoma out of the transfer portal so far this offseason. The Sooners have already lost almost their entire WR room to the portal since the end of the 2024 campaign, so they’re in need of a rebuild at that position going into next season.
OU’s other wide receiver additions so far this offseason are Southern Illinois transfer Keontez Lewis and former Arkansas-Pine Bluff receiver Javonnie Gibson. Sategna figures to have a good shot at earning significant playing time in Norman next season alongside returners Deion Burks and Jayden Gibson.
