TCU had its way with No. 18 Oklahoma on Saturday, blowing out the Sooners 55-24 in Fort Worth, Texas. The Horned Frogs scored 27 points in the first quarter en route to a 41-17 advantage at the half.

TCU opens Big 12 conference play 1-0 with Saturday’s victory, improving to 4-0 overall. The Horned Frogs are well-aware that it won’t be a conference game much longer.

TCU’s’ social media team worked Oklahoma’s future as an SEC team into a postgame social media troll, accompanying the final score graphic.

The Sooners are joining the SEC in 2025 at the latest. In August, Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports reported that there are active discussions about Texas and Oklahoma potentially joining the SEC earlier than 2025, putting the 2024 return trip to Fort Worth in jeopardy.

TCU’s victory snapped Oklahoma’s 8-game winning streak in the series from 2015-to-2021, including the 2017 Big 12 Championship game.
