AJ Brown and the Philadelphia Eagles are moving on in the NFL playoffs after a 22-10 home win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon. Brown will make sure to have his book on hand next weekend.

The former Ole Miss standout had 1 catch on 3 targets for 10 yards Sunday. Though the statline was forgettable, Brown grabbed the attention of the FOX broadcast and fans on social media when cameras showed that he was reading a book during the game.

There was some speculation that reading may have been Brown’s way of voicing his frustration with his lack of touches. The Eagles leaned on Saquon Barkley (25 carries, 119 yards), while Jalen Hurts was 13-of-21 for 131 yards passing with 2 touchdowns.

After the game, Brown explained that he’s a regular reader he wasn’t upset. He said having a book on the sideline is not new, but this was the first time it was noticed.

“Y’all just caught me that time,” Brown said. “I’m doing it every drive, regardless of if I score a touchdown or drop a pass somehow I refocus.”

The book is revealed to be “Inner Excellence” by Jim Murphy. It’s sure to be quite popular after it unexpectedly found the spotlight for an NFL playoff audience.
