Jerrion Ealy has been suspended by the NFL.

The former Ole Miss running back is a member of Kansas City’s practice squad and has yet to play in an NFL game in his rookie season.

Ealy’s suspension is for 6 games and a result of violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Ealy went undrafted following his career in Oxford but was signed as a free agent by the Chiefs.

The 5-8, 187-pounder rushed for 2,235 yards and 20 touchdowns during his 3 seasons at Ole Miss. He also hauled in 67 career passes for 545 yards and 4 TDs.
