Jaxson Dart is indeed headed to Ole Miss, according to reports from ESPN on Saturday afternoon.
According to ESPN’s Chris Low, Dart informed the network that he is transferring to the Rebels and is enrolled to begin school there. The reports that Dart was enrolled at Ole Miss began toward the end of the week. ESPN’s Pete Thamel also reported that Dart and his family preferred the option of going to a new destination to better control his future over staying at USC to compete for the starting job.
Former USC quarterback Jaxson Dart tells ESPN he will play at @OleMissFB next season and is enrolled in school. The 6-3, 215-pound Dart passed for 1,353 yards and nine TDs in six games as a freshman. He’s a great fit for @Lane_Kiffin’s system with his arm strength and mobility.

With the loss of Matt Corral to the NFL, it will be interesting to see how Dart fits into Kiffin’s system at Ole Miss.
