According to 247Sports, it has been confirmed that junior cornerback Jaylon Jones tore his ACL during the Rebels’ 47-27 win over Texas Tech on Saturday.
Jones was having himself a big game before he was injured. He returned a kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown and also recorded seven tackles.
Jones played in every game in 2017 and recorded 34 total tackles and three passes defended.
More details on Jones’ injury can be expected during Matt Luke’s press conference on Monday.
