There was no standout in the Ole Miss-Vanderbilt game who caught quite the amount of attention as wide receiver Jonathan Mingo did as he he recorded a ridiculous stat line of 9 catches for some 247 yards with 2 touchdowns.

Mingo received multiple honors for his efforts in the 52-28 win, named SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week alongside former high school teammate and current Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers. In addition to that, he was also named to the PFF Team of the Week to recognize his record-breaking showing.

Other players who made the cut included Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud, Texas running back Bijan Robinson and Notre Dame tight end Michael Mayer.

To this point in the season, Mingo totals 22 receptions for 507 yards with 3 touchdowns. He’ll look to keep the production rolling as the team faces Auburn on Saturday in a quest to improve to 7-0 as the Rebels are favored by two touchdowns.
