Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels held a late lead when a 4th-down play by Tennessee was ruled to have come up short.
Obviously, Vol fans didn’t like that ruling from the refs, but there’s no excuse for what happened next.
Fans started throwing trash on the field. One golf ball thrown from the crowd actually appeared to hit Kiffin in the elbow, as you can see below:

Obviously, that’s a horrible look for Tennessee fans. There’s no excuse for that sort of behavior from fans at any school for any reason.
