Notch three interceptions in a win over Ole Miss, earn a scholarship. That’s how it worked out for Arkansas redshirt freshman walk-on defensive back Hudson Clark, as Razorbacks head coach Sam Pittman announced that news on “SEC This Morning” on Monday.

And of course, it wasn’t long before Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin took to Twitter to bring a joke, as he’s known for doing.

“Happy we can help kids out @RazorbackFB congrats!!!” Kiffin quote tweeted while sharing the video of Pittman making the announcement.

Arkansas’ defense got the best of Kiffin’s Ole Miss offense this past Saturday, intercepting Rebels quarterback Matt Corral six times in its victory, with half of them coming from Clark in his breakout performance.

Even though Kiffin’s team was on the losing side, it’s good to see the head coach having fun and keeping things light in his first year at the helm at Ole Miss in his return season to the SEC.

The Rebels will be looking for a bounce-back performance when they host Auburn on Saturday at noon ET on SEC Network.
