Matt Corral looked like he was done for the game. The star Ole Miss QB was taken back to the locker room after suffering a painful-looking ankle injury on Saturday night in the first half against Auburn.
However, he quickly returned to the sidelines and re-entered the game. And, he has the Rebels playing well.
Despite having 2 banged up ankles, Corral still managed to run for a gritty touchdown in the second quarter at Jordan-Hare Stadium:

Clearly, Corral wasn’t at full speed. He’s definitely in pain, but you have to appreciate his toughness and willingness to put it all on the line for his team.
Ole Miss trails 28-17 heading into halftime. We’ll see if he can put together a Heisman moment and lead the Rebels back in the second half.
