Hardie is coming off of a very productive season for Jacksonville State in 2023. He amassed 61 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks in 2023. He was first-team All-Conference USA and was also named as the league’s edge defender of the year and defensive lineman of the year.
He’ll now join an Ole Miss pass rushing unit that figures to be one of the best in the SEC in 2024. Ole Miss’ transfer class includes other defensive linemen such as former Texas A&M DL Walter Nolen and ex-Florida edge Princely Umanmielen.
As a whole, Ole Miss had a loaded transfer class. Hardie is the 22nd transfer to commit to the Rebels so far this offseason. The group is ranked No. 1 nationally, per 247Sports rankings.
Hardie will have 1 year of eligibility remaining at the college level.
Ole Miss’ regular-season win total is currently set at 9.5, according to the latest line from FanDuel.
