Securing a ticket in some rivalries is especially difficult, but that’s not the case for the Egg Bowl. At least when it comes to the Ole Miss side of things this year.

With a quote from coach Matt Luke, who said, “You don’t have to be blood to be family,” the Rebels are promoting an incredible $45 buy one, get one free ticket package for next week’s game against Mississippi State.

Ticket prices and demand usually reflect the feeling of a given fan base, and the Rebels are looking to change their recent fortunes. Ole Miss has lost three straight, all in the SEC, to fall to 5-5 on the season.  Ole Miss is also an underdog this week at Vanderbilt.

The Rebels won last year’s meeting, and have won three of the last four in a series.

If Ole Miss can get a good crowd, the Thanksgiving night game kickoff could deliver a special atmosphere, presuming that the Bulldog fans don’t infiltrate Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and also take advantage of this special ticket deal.
