Ole Miss looks like one of the elite teams in the country with a legitimate shot to content for the College Football Playoff championship.
Sure, the Rebels haven’t been tested like some of the other top teams in the SEC — but after 4 games — their offense is making history.
Ole Miss currently has a +198 point differential this season, which is the best in SEC history for that time span, according to Cole Cubelic. The Rebels are also the first team in SEC history with 600 yards in 4-straight game and their 220 points are the most in school history for the first 4 games of a season.

Even though Ole Miss has opened the 2024 season with less-talented opponents, this offensive success can’t be overlooked. Lane Kiffin has brought his offensive prowess to Oxford and has Ole Miss thriving, on both sides of the ball.
But the Rebels’ offense is clearly the team’s strong suit with QB Jaxson Dart looking like a frontrunner to win the Heisman Trophy, with 1,554 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions so far in 2024.
He’s added another 90 yards and 3 touchdowns as a ball-carrier, forcing defenses to account for his dual-threat ability.
If Ole miss can continue to dominate on both sides of the ball as they start playing tougher SEC teams, Kiffin’s 2024 squad could have a chance to do something special.
