Ole Miss officially has a new on-field mascot.
The Rebels unveiled their Landshark mascot, Tony, Saturday, and he looks like something you’d see in your nightmares. Social media had a field day mocking the new mascot.
Tony is named after former LB Tony Fein, who was the first to use the “Fins Up” hand gesture, but sadly, Fein passed away in 2009. However, his legacy will live on forever in the Rebels’ Landshark mascot. Tony will also wear Fein’s former No. 47 uniform.
