Ole Miss shows off new end zone design for season opener against Florida

Ole Miss has new powder blue uniforms for the 2020 season. So, of course, the Rebels had to add some new paint to the field at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium to match.
While Ole Miss will have its traditional logo at midfield, the text in the end zone will now be powder blue, as will the SEC logo painted onto the field. It’s an appropriate look considering this new color scheme for the Rebels.
On Tuesday, Ole Miss gave a preview of what the stadium field will look like come Saturday:

Not only will the Rebels’ season opener be an opportunity for them to prove themselves against No. 5 Florida, but it will be the first game of the Lane Kiffin era. Kiffin was hired to be Ole Miss’ head coach this past December, marking the first time he’ll be a head coach in the SEC since his lone season at Tennessee in 2009.
If the Rebels can pull off an upset win over the Gators, it would certainly be a huge statement to open the 2020 season.
Ole Miss and Florida will kick off Saturday at noon ET on ESPN.
