Quarterback-needy NFL team reportedly spent a lot of time with Jordan Ta’amu after Shrine Game practice

The Miami Dolphins are undergoing a regime change after firing Adam Gase following the 2018 season, and the new coach (rumored to be Patriots assistant Brian Flores) may want to move on from QB Ryan Tannehill.
That means the Dolphins will be doing their homework on a number of quarterback prospects ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft, and one of those guys appears to be Ole Miss QB Jordan Ta’amu.
According to a report from Trevor Sikkema, the Dolphins spent quite a while talking with Ta’amu after Monday’s Shrine Game practice:

Ta’amu finished second in the SEC in passing yards, throwing for 3,918 this year (behind only Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa, who played in three more games). He also had an incredible 43-to-6 touchdown-to-interception ratio.
He is clearly a talented player, and will likely be available in the later rounds of the draft if the Dolphins want to take a flyer on him.
