Ole Miss knew it needed a fast start against No. 1 Alabama, and the Rebels made sure to do just that on the first play from scrimmage.
Jordan Ta’amu hooked up with D.K. Metcalf for a quick 75 yard score to give the Rebels a quick 7-0 lead over the Crimson Tide in their first SEC matchup.

The play was actually reviewed by the officials, as it looked like Metcalf may have stepped out of bounds toward the end of the play. But the original call on the field was upheld. Alabama will be sure to pay extra attention to these Ole Miss wideouts for the rest of the game.
