Which teams have the best road uniforms in the SEC?
If you’re looking for flavor, each team’s white-based away combination probably isn’t your thing, but there are several programs with unique looks thanks to proper contrasting accents.

Going over every team’s 2015 uniform options, here’s a glance at the updates we’ve published in the last month in prep for the new season. On Monday, we released our 2015 SEC home uniform rankings.

RANKING THE SEC’s 2015 AWAY UNIFORMS
14. MIZZOU (White on white)
Two-toned jerseys are so 2008. Seriously though, incorporating a non-team color — in this case anthracite grey — into their uniforms was a bad idea for the Tigers. I love the home and alternate looks, however.
13. MISSISSIPPI STATE (White on white)
Something’s missing from the Bulldogs’ primary road get-up. They’re just uninteresting.
12. TEXAS A&M (White on white)
Unlike Mississippi State’s similar look, the Aggies’ white jersey and pants combo possess a unique flow and symmetry. The secondary ‘Lone Star’ logo at the hip completes this look. Last season’s two-toned chrome helmets worn at Mississippi State were sweet.
11. KENTUCKY (White on blue)
Is there such thing as too much blue? In this case, yes. The Wildcats have added grey pants for a road choice as well, debuting those last fall.
10. SOUTH CAROLINA (White on garnet)
Fans prefer the white on white road look, but the Gamecocks’ white and garnet is probably Under Armour’s best uniform combination in Columbia. Shoulder stripes added prior to the 2013 campaign were a nice touch.
9. VANDERBILT (White on gold)
Free of any fancy elements, sublimated graphics or contrasting vents, Vanderbilt’s white on gold look with black accents should be worn more often.
8. FLORIDA (White on orange)
Let’s go with Florida’s road alternate here. The Gators primarily wear white or blue pants with their white away jerseys, but the orange adds flare.
7. ARKANSAS (White on white)
I really like Nike’s updated ‘ARKANSAS’ wordmark and forward-facing Hog logo at the jersey crest. The Razorbacks wore this look a couple times with white helmets, but the cardinal lid is more pleasing.
6. AUBURN (White on white)
With just enough orange to make this combination pop, Under Armour hasn’t altered much about Auburn’s traditional style.
5. ALABAMA (White on white)
Few teams can pull off a generic uniform look and be considered one of college football’s elite from an apparel perspective, but the Crimson Tide do it well. These may look like they’ve come from a basic uniform design template, but Alabama’s not going to buck tradition in favor of flash.
4. OLE MISS (White on grey)
The scarlet shoulder stripes on one of the Rebels’ white jersey options is one of the SEC’s cleanest looks. Paired with grey pants with scarlet and navy accents, it works.
3. LSU (White on gold)
So this one’s cheating. LSU is the SEC’s only team that wears its white jersey at home and on the road. The Tigers’ purple jersey is reserved for games in Baton Rouge against non-conference competition. I ranked the white jerseys No. 1 in Monday’s home uniform list, so I have to leave it in the Top 5 by default.
2. TENNESSEE (White on white)
The Vols’ updated Nike threads are outstanding, especially the preferred white on white road set. The orange collar, Block T bumper at the crest and checkered stripe down the pants (not pictured) is unique to Rocky Top.
1. GEORGIA (White on silver)
Flywired contrasting collars and updated numerals have given the Bulldogs’ classic white jersey a new-age twist without steering away from tradition. Black numerals with red accents has always looked great with Georgia’s iconic helmet.
