2023 NFL Mock Draft: ESPN expert projects 10 SEC stars to go in Round 1

The start of the 2023 NFL Draft in Kansas City is less than a month away, as Round 1 will take place on Thursday, April 27.

On Wednesday, ESPN draft expert Jordan Reid released his full 7-round mock draft, and he had 10 SEC stars going in the first round.

As you can see below, Alabama leads the way with the No. 2 and No. 3 picks, but Georgia leads the SEC with 3 first-round selections:

  • No. 2 — Bryce Young, QB, Alabama — Houston Texans
  • No. 3 — Will Anderson Jr., Edge, Alabama — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 4 — Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida — Indianapolis Colts
  • No. 5 — Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia — Seattle Seahawks
  • No. 7 — Will Levis, QB, Kentucky — Las Vegas Raiders
  • No. 9 — Broderick Jones, OL, Georgia — Chicago Bears
  • No. 10 — Nolan Smith, Edge, Georgia — Philadelphia Eagles
  • No. 17 — Darnell Wright, OL, Tennessee — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 24 — O’Cyrus Torrence, OL, Florida — Jacksonville Jaguars
  • No. 27 — Drew Sanders, Edge, Arkansas — Buffalo Bills
