There were several college football games on Saturday, and on Monday, BYU and Navy will square off in Annapolis.
However, next weekend, the Big 12 and ACC have games scheduled, with the SEC slated to start things off on Sept. 26.
ESPN’s Chris Low put together a top-25 power ranking this week, and 8 SEC teams crack the list. Low has Alabama at No. 1, which is a bit different than other rankings which have Clemson at No. 1:
- Alabama — No. 1
- Georgia — No. 3
- Florida — No. 4
- LSU — No. 7
- Texas A&M — No. 8
- Auburn — No. 10
- Tennessee — No. 14
- Kentucky — No. 17
How many of those teams will start off the season with a win? Auburn and Kentucky play each other, so there will be at least 1 loss among those 8 squads, but 7-1 is a possibility.
