Ahead of the AP Poll, here’s what a consensus preseason Top 25 looks like

The Associated Press has yet to reveal its preseason Top 25, and that makes them one of the last to the party.
The Coaches Poll was released last week. ESPN’s Football Power Index has long been up. Notable publications like Sports Illustrated and Athlon Sports have published preseason rankings.
Using 11 of the most recognized preseason polls, college football writer Matt Hinton compiled a consensus Top 25 using a points system he explains in the image below. From the SEC, Alabama leads the way at No. 1 followed by No. 10 Auburn, No. 11 LSU, No. 15 Florida, No. 16 Georgia and No. 25 Tennessee. Texas A&M made a few preseason Top 25 polls, but not enough to make the cut for the consensus.
Hinton shared the poll in an image, which can be enlarged, on Twitter.
