Typically speaking, Nick Saban gets what Nick Saban wants.
And that’s exactly what should be troubling for Kentucky football fans and coaches alike.
Mac Jones, a three-star pro-style QB from Jacksonville, Fla., has been committed to play for Kentucky since July.
On Sunday morning, he announced that he has received an offer from the Crimson Tide:
Honored to receive my 15th offer from the University of Alabama! #RollTide #RTR pic.twitter.com/gfzR2YbK4r
— Mac Jones (@MacJones_10) April 10, 2016
While that news in itself isn’t damaging to Mark Stoops’ squad’s chances of retaining the commitment, it does signify that Jones is going to continue to be a highly sought-after prospect in the 2017 recruiting class.
Alabama is the second SEC school to offer Jones, who also has offers from Arizona State, West Virginia and Illinois, among others.
