Arby’s has always had a fun, engaging social media team.
Now, the fast-food brand is getting into the NIL business, it seems. And, cleverly, the chain is targeting college RBs. (Arby’s. RBs. Get it?)
As you can see below, Arby’s put out a tweet calling for Division I running backs to reach out for NIL opportunities:
Are you a D1 college running back looking to beef up your bank account? #ArbysRBs pays you to say, “Tonight, I’m getting Arby’s!” Time to get that Arby’s cash, y’all. Head to https://t.co/TcutB8qFxY for details. School eligibility req’d. Ends 12/1/21 or when cap is reached. pic.twitter.com/snopqGE9kl

The endorsement deals have already started to roll out, too, as top running backs jumped all over this opportunity. Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson tweeted that he was sponsored by Arby’s:
Excited to announce I am officially a sponsored Arby’s RB! If you’re a D1 Running Back, head to https://t.co/MNEqVqj6hL to see how you can be sponsored by @ Arbys too. #ArbysRBs #sponsored https://t.co/YV4aP4h7mP

As you can see in the video above, Auburn’s Shaun Shivers, Washington State’s Max Borghi and Notre Dame’s Kyren Williams are already signed on with Arby’s alongside Henderson.
We’ll see which other big-name RBs take on this great NIL deal.
